Musculoskeletal System Symposium Stuttgart (20-22.07.2021)

In the light of all the recent uncertainties and worries that COVID-19 brought upon us, also with respect to global travel (policies), we had long discussions about how to proceed with the organization of our Musculoskeletal System Symposium 2020. Although our symposium is nowhere anywhere close to the Olympics, their decision to postpone the games to 2021 is somewhat reassuring that we should do the same and postpone our meeting to next year. We are very sad to do so, because we, together with all of you, and many people, who showed already great interest to join the symposium, were so excited about the symposium. The new dates for the Musculoskeletal System Symposium 2021 are July 20-22, 2021!

On June 1, 2019, the University of Stuttgart established the new Institute for Modelling and Simulation of Biomechanical Systems. We would lik to take this occasion to invite you to Stuttgart for a “Musculoskeletal System Symposium”. The goal is to bring together young and renowned international researchers to discuss and
improve our understanding of the musculoskeletal system as a whole. The symposium will take place from July 16 – 18, 2020. We are all looking forward to welcoming you in Stuttgart.

XXVIII Congress of the ISB (25-29.07.2021)

XXVIII Congress of the International Society of Biomechanics (ISB)

The International Society of Biomechanics (ISB) in collaboration with The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH), the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Karolinska Institute (KI) are looking forward to welcoming you to a fully digital congress on the 25-29 July 2021. All lectures will be held in English.

Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and the most populous urban area in the Nordic countries. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Just outside the city and along the coast is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The city is home to some of Europe’s top ranking universities and a hub for academic excellence in Scandinavia.
