Impacts design and coordination of research laboratory experiments.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<div id=\"description_box\">\n<h3><strong>Orthopaedics Research<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Full Time<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Exempt<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>TMC location\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Strongly preferred skills\/experience in mechanical design &amp; analysis, finite element analysis (FEA).<\/p>\n<h3><b>Position Key Accountabilities:<\/b><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Provides technical engineering expertise in the performance of laboratory experiments, data collection, and analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Sets up new experiments and maintains and\/or modifies current experiments by assessing experimental needs and arranges the use of equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates laboratory utilization and equipment sharing among various researchers.<\/li>\n<li>Researches options for new equipment and supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Modifies computer software, uses power tools, and fabricates small adapters and mounts.<\/li>\n<li>Assists with instrumentation development.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"job_qualifications\">\n<h3><b>Certification\/Skills:<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to undertake complex and challenging projects.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent research and problem solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use computer systems or specified equipment that is essential for the related areas.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interact with scientists and researcher from other disciplines is crucial.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Minimum Education:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in engineering, computer and information science or other applied sciences.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Minimum Experience:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Two years experience in applied research or related field.
