The group\u2019s primary focus is functional outcome research (neuromuscular\/biomechanical) based on data collected in our in-house laboratory.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Your responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and support patient assessments, including data collection, processing and data control.<\/li>\n<li>Support the planning, design and execution of functional outcome research studies.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with clinical teams, including orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapist, radiologists.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in scientific writing and communication, including manuscript preparation, conference abstracts, and dissemination of findings to both academic and clinical audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and mentor Master students, providing guidance on research design, data assessment, analysis and scientific writing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Your profile<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree (MSc) in Health Science and Technology, Movement Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Physiotherapy or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge and experience in neuromuscular and biomechanical data collection and analysis. Direct experience in high-density surface EMG decomposition and marker-based motion capture is required.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in programming skills (Phyton, Matlab, R) and sound knowledge of statistical methodology and data science, ideally in relation to EMG and motion capture data.<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of all aspects of the clinical research process from planning to publication, in accordance with Good Clinical Practice procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize day-to-day tasks, meet deadlines and work with a variety of staff and teams.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent English (spoken and written, especially scientific\/medical English).<\/li>\n<li>German language skills (minimum: comprehension level), or strong willingness to learn.<\/li>\n<li>Well-developed communication and social skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><b>What we offer<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>We offer a Research Assistant role in a well-established and growing research environment.
