The board of directors of the Helmholtz Institute of the RWTH Aachen University will be the host of the BMT 2018, the 52th annual conference of the German Society for Biomedical Engineering (DGBMT within VDE).
The mission of the Helmholtz-Institute for Biomedical Engineering of the RWTH Aachen University is interdisciplinary basic research and development of personalised biomedical engineering solutions. The common objective of all initiated projects, activities and tasks is to create innovation for a better health care.
The conference topics will cover the entire field of Biomedical Engineering, as it is represented by the plurality of DGBMT expert committees. Special emphasis is put on the following topics:
• Biohybrid Medical Systems
• Cyber Medical Systems
• Patient Specific Model Guided Therapy
• Clinical Translation
Physicians, engineers and natural scientists are welcome to conduct an intensive dialogue on the exciting scientific achievements and to discover the best ways for translation from science to practice. Interdisciplinary communication, socializing and brainstorming are long standing traditions of these conferences.
We look forward to seeing you at the BMT 2018 in Aachen.
