10th BSRT symposium

We are delighted to invite you to join us at the upcoming 10thBSRT symposium!

Mission of the symposium

Much like an intergalactic traveler is dependent on a precise understanding of space and time, regenerative medicine aims at navigating safely through the intricate spatiotemporal microenvironments that determines successful healing.

In this year’s symposium, we aim to explore the different manifestations of this trend and its significance in the future of regenerative research from a multi-facetted perspective. Playfully following the theme of “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” throughout the sessions, we would like to link different aspects of regenerative medicine such as biomaterials or immunology to futuristic scenarios and references from science fiction and pop culture.

We provide an environment for young researchers to share their findings and to explore how better spatiotemporal control over healing biology could make these scenarios become reality. In addition, transporting workshops on various topics relevant to spatiotemporal control in regenerative therapies will be offered on the first day of the symposium by leading companies of the respective fields.
